Imagine watching your conversation unfold on a wall in front of you, allowing every person in the room to be fully immersed in the collective design process and witness the emergent patterns of the intelligence of the group. Scribing (or Graphic Recording) is a way of mapping a conversation that leaves participants with high levels of clarity, connection and investment. I filter and organize information in a way that allows teams to run more effectively and efficiently. From meetings and workshops to presentations and speakers, scribing changes how people see ideas.
I work alongside meeting facilitators and hosts from agenda to delivery in order to support participants in considering how to take transformation out of cognitive space and embody the learning and change that our work calls for. In the session I use a combination of somatic grounding, live drawing, and oral tradition to support participants in understanding the role of visual writing systems in meaning-making.
